Your finance records stay local first

Your profile, recurring items, reminders, and finance records are stored in the app on your device. The app remains functional without a constant internet connection.

Private iCloud backup when available

MoneyGoWhere can back up a copy to your private iCloud storage so your data can be restored. The backup uses your iCloud account; it is not stored in a public MoneyGoWhere database.

Chat entry sends limited context

To turn a message into a recurring item, the service receives your current chat conversation, the titles of up to 30 existing items, and your home currency. Other item amounts, dates, payment methods, notes, and your email are not included unless you type them into that conversation.

The service uses this limited information to understand your request and reduce duplicates. MoneyGoWhere does not save an item until you review and confirm it.

Reference exchange rates reveal no finance records

Multi-currency totals use public reference exchange-rate lookups. Those requests do not include your item names, amounts, finance records, or identity.

No bank sync and no silent writes

MoneyGoWhere does not connect to bank accounts or import transactions. Chat suggestions remain drafts until you approve them, and you can edit or delete confirmed items in the app.
